April 2021: Monthly Wrap-Up
Is it just me, or is it hard to believe it’s already May?!
As I alluded to before, April was a hectic month for me, to say the least. Between two jobs ending and my coursework finishing up for my (last and final!) semester, I wound up spending the majority of my time either working, stressed about work, or thinking about being stressed about work. 😪
Nevertheless! This is a very ✨ happy ✨ post, because…
I managed to complete it ALL! 🎉
Like, I seriously cannot get over the fact I’m practically DONE my degree. (Even though I still need to write my thesis, but let’s not talk about that.) This one has been a long time coming, and I’m so excited to be almost finished and out of school FOR GOOD!
My hope with the month of May looking a whole lot less busy is that I’ll actually be able to spend more time focusing on my blog! It feels so neglected! I’m glad I’ve been able to be consistent with posting blog tour reviews on time, but I miss having the time to actually read and review the mountain of ARCs I’ve been sent – all of which I desperately want to read! – and it feels like it’s been forever since I posted a discussion post or book tag – even though I have tons of them planning out in my drafts! – honestly, I just miss blogging.
I also miss interacting with other bloggers?? So many good books have come out and I want to hear your OPINIONS!! 👀
All this to say, April was busy AF, but now that it’s over I’m glad to finally be getting back to what matters to me. 🥰
Books Read:
I actually did managed to read 14 books this month?!?! Which sounds impossible since I was so busy, but I did?!?! Honestly, this is really all thanks to a long commute and many, many audiobooks. 🤷🏻♀️
Next Month’s TBR:
Now that my life is not AS busy, I’m hoping to finally catch up on all the ARC-reading I’ve been woefully neglecting these past few months… wish me luck! 🙈
What did you get up to during the month of April?
Have anything exciting planned for the month of May?
Let me know!

Congrats on finishing your semester!!! Freedom at last!
I’m excited to see what you think about Honey Girl, it’s one of my favorites of 2020.
