The End of the Year Book Tag 2020

I saw this tag floating around the blogosphere and thought it would be a fun one to do before the end of the year! (Just ignore as I step over that pile of unfinished book tags I’ve actually been tagged in. πŸ˜…)

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

Not really, but I’m currently in the process of reading Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid, Ask Again, Yes by Mary Beth Keane and The War Widow by Tara Moss – all of which are FABULOUS by the way – and it’d be nice to finish them all before the new year to have a fresh start on January 1st.

(I actually wrote this post half a week ago, and since then I’ve finished both Ask Again, Yes and Such a Fun Age – both of which were 5 star reads! 🌟)

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

Not really “autumnal,” but there are a few wintery season/holiday-oriented books I’m hoping to read over the next few weeks. You can see my post about those ~here~ ⛄️

(Again, I actually just finished the audiobook for One Day in December by Josie Silver today – and I thought it was super cute and a perfect holiday romance – very a la Hallmark Movies Channel! πŸ’—)

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

Not any being published in 2020! But since there’s less than a month left, I don’t think that’s too big of a surprise. πŸ˜‰

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

There are honestly SO MANY books I want to read before the end of the year. Too many to ACTUALLY read in that short amount of time – lol! But here are three I’ve felt like I’ve had my eyes on all year long and still haven’t read them… Cinderella is Dead by Kalynn Bayron, You Should See Me in a Crown by Leah Johnson, and Untamed by Glenn Doyle!

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

Honestly any of the books I’ve already listed here are strong contenders! I’ve read so many fantastic books this year… it’s hard to imagine picking just one to be my favourite. πŸ™ˆ

Have you already started making reading plans for 2021?

Have I ever! Besides the mountain of ARCs I’ve already agreed to read/review I’ve also made a list of my most anticipated releases coming out in 2021. You can check out that post ~here~ and get excited with me about all the incredible novels being published in the new year!

So that’s it! I don’t think I’ll be tagging anyone specific, since technically I wasn’t tagged to do this one at all – but if these questions pique your interest of course you can consider yourself tagged by me! I’d love to read your answers. πŸ€—

What books are you hoping to read before the new year?
