F/F February Readathon Wrap-Up

Happy March everybody! Now that February is officially over, it’s time for me to do a wrap-up post for my participation in the F/F February readathon! 👭💖

As a reminder, F/F February is a month-long reading challenge that promotes reading and uplifting sapphic books during the month of February. This readathon was created and hosted by Imi and Ellie over at Beyond a Bookshelf. The original annoucement post can be found here. 🏳️‍🌈✨

And… it was the very first readathon I’d ever participated in!

I had so much fun reading so many great F/F books this past month! This experience definitely makes me want to participate in more readathons in the future – especially if they have as great intentions as this one did! I’d been meaning to read more sapphic books for such a long time (I am queer after all) and this readathon was the perfect motivator for me to give myself the kick in the pants I needed. And I wound up reading some absolutely phenomenal books – and finding some new favourites along the way! 🥳

How Did I Do?

While I didn’t complete all of the books I planned out in My F/F February TBR post – I did read a total of FIVE sapphic books in February. 🎉👏🌈 All of which I rated upwards of 4 stars! (Though, maybe I’m just biased. 😉) My favorite read of the lot was Crier’s War by Nina Varela, but honestly, I’d readily recommend any of the titles I read this past month!

Each book I read filled one square of my F/F February bingo card – the details about which books filled which prompts are listed below – which means I managed to complete not only one, but two rows on the bingo board! (I wound up replacing my top corner box choice from Circe by Madeline Miller to You Know Me Well by Nina LaCour and David Levithan.) All in all, a very successful first readathon! 🤩

What I Read:

The Prompt

A F/F Contemporary Romance Book
